turn
off is a statement against dead-end
couch and zapping culture. It’s about
cleaning up the mental environment from
distorted news, manipulative advertising,
and top-down culture. the goal is simple:
to shake up routines and get people
questioning the role of TV in their lives.
aforest-design
is now supporting this
movement, with the edition of a knitted
acessories collection, evidencing the
moments of pause and rest of the TV,
practically inexistent nowadays: signal
tests, emission interruptions, color
scales, shades of light and RGB.
